Beautiful Port Royal

Beautiful Port Royal

Along the beaches and sparkling blue waters of the great Atlantic and under the centuries old towering live oaks in the coastal community of Port Royal lives a unique history. Originally, this was the site where for hundreds of years Native Americans hunted and gathered seafood.

At the start of the Civil War, the present Port Royal was occupied by Confederate forces. Then in the Battle of Port Royal in 1861, the Confederate troops were defeated and 13,000 Union troops landed to take control of the island.

Today a spectacular Southern charm awaits you.  Located on the northwestern point of Hilton Head Island, this golf and tennis community offers a luxurious oceanfront and beach club.

Its high elevation gives homeowners incredible views of the waters of Port Royal Sound and the deep blue Atlantic beyond.  Here you will be surrounded by the tranquil sounds of nature and the beauty of tropical palms, manicured golf courses, saltwater estuaries and fresh-water lagoons.
