When I began the journey of searching for properties on Hilton Head Island, I never imagined I would - or could - buy a home sight unseen. Steve was the ultimate partner, not only in finding wonderful candidates, but also by being a second set of eyes and feet on the ground. Steve toured properties for me, and even with me via Facetime. When I found a property that I loved, Steve coached me through a highly competitive offer process, helping me to strengthen my offer and to make it the most attractive option for the buyers. After my offer was accepted, Steve negotiated and handled a closing punch list for the seller to implement, and then introduced me to a network of local Inspectors, Closing Lawyers and Insurance Agents - truly a gift as I negotiated this process from thousands of miles away. His help didn't stop there ... after moving in, when the AC failed, Steve had an HVAC team at my place immediately. When we needed an electrician and plumber for home renovations and projects, Steve had us covered. He has been the best resource from day one, and someone that I trust for advice on an ongoing basis. We were residing in Virginia at the time of our purchase, therefore we relied extensively on her local research. She was very thorough and and knowledgeable. Fortunately, she also was very patient during the tricky times of covid. She was effective at dealing with contract issues successfully. I have purchased at least 6 homes and by far she was the most useful agent I've ever experienced. Another amazing thing about this company, they remember you long after your purchase. They have provided numerous gifts for their former clients. Wonderful cocktail party, delicious Thanksgiving pie, and a Valentine fun get together! Becky listened to what we thought our criteria were and before long she understood what we were looking for better than we did. She showed us several properties and we put in an offer on one and we were out bid. We then put in an offer on another property but it was in foreclosure and took over a year to close the deal. Becky was there to support us for that whole time. She regularly kept us updated and once we closed she has continued to answer questions when we are looking for local vendors or information. Becky was always polite, was always right on top of everything and returned calls very quickly, Becky found us the ideal home and I would definitely recommend Becky to family and friends.
