Movie Nights at Shelter Cove - June 11th - August 13th
Looking for a fun and free family activity this summer? Shelter Cove Towne Centre’s popular Movie Nights return beginning June 11, 2026, at Shelter Cove Community Park on Hilton Head Island. Movies begin at 7:30 p.m. every Thursday and are free and open to the public. Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and even their pets to enjoy an evening under the stars. This year’s lineup features favorites like Zootopia 2, A Minecraft Movie, Top Gun: Maverick, Lilo & Stitch, and more. Guests can also grab takeout from one of Shelter Cove Towne Centre’s restaurants or Kroger before settling in for a memorable summer movie experience.

Town of Bluffton 250 Celebration - July 2nd
Celebrate America’s heritage and Bluffton’s rich history at the Town of Bluffton’s 250 Celebration Flag Ceremony on July 2 at Veterans Memorial Park in Buckwalter Place. Conducted by the Sons of the American Revolution, this patriotic ceremony honors the nation’s founding era while recognizing Bluffton’s connection to Revolutionary history. Residents and visitors are invited to gather in reflection and pride as the community commemorates 250 years of American independence.
Salute from The Shore - July 4th
Celebrate Independence Day with the annual Salute From The Shore flyover along South Carolina’s coastline. The military aircraft are expected to pass by the Sea Pines Beach Club at approximately 1:30 p.m. Gather on the beach and join us in honoring the brave men and women who serve our country.
Bald Eagle Flyover - July 4th
Celebrate the Fourth of July at The Sea Pines Resort with a special appearance by Lincoln, the Bald Eagle. Known for his iconic flights at Philadelphia Eagles games, Lincoln will soar from the Harbour Town Lighthouse to the 18th green of Harbour Town Golf Links as part of America’s 250th Anniversary celebration. Fourth of July Parade - July 4th
Celebrate the Fourth of July in Harbour Town! Decorate your bike, wagon, stroller, dog, or little ones and join the patriotic parade. Registration begins at 8:30 AM, lineup starts at 9:30 AM. Then head to the Harbour Town lawn for carnival games and family fun!
