Berkeley Hall

BH-Golf-2
HERMAN & DAVIS

Welcome to the Lowcountry, a place where palmetto and live oak trees stand guard along our winding roads, while Spanish Moss waves in the wind as the unofficial flag of the Lowcountry of South Carolina. This is a place where time moves a little slower, and natural beauty abounds in a very special part of the world we call home.

Golf

The golf experience at Berkeley Hall is a seamless blend of natural wonder and architectural achievement.  There are two courses designed by Tom Fazio, known simply as the North Course and the South Course, each with its own distinct personality. The courses meander through an open coastal landscape framed by seaside grasses, and bold strategic bunkering that showcases the architect’s artistry.

The club proudly offers a collection of Men’s, Women’s and Couples’ groups for golfers of all skill levels.

Fitness

Pilates, barre, core conditioning, yoga and aerobics are among the full roster of classes provided by trained instructors. These classes, along with private sessions, execute high-performance results and focus on stability, mobility and flexibility.  Throughout the 14,400 square-foot facilities, members enjoy full access to cardiovascular strength equipment, an indoor pool and whirlpool, sauna and steam rooms, spa treatment areas, and a healthy spa cafe.

Culinary

Berkeley Hal has six distinctive dining options, each with its own form of informal sophistication – everything from simplicity to decadence.  From the outdoor Veranda, where you can take in the views of the sunset, to the cordial Tap Room where jokes are shared and stories are enjoyed and each menu is unique featuring the bounty of the season.

Racquet Sports

Both avid and novice players can find their fit, with year-round clinics for all ages,as well as tennis socials and annual tournaments.  And with pickleball surging as one of the fastest growing sports in America, our pickleball program offers fun match play clinics with a mix of round robins, private sessions and social play.  Whichever racquet sport you prefer, everyone can meet up post-match on the refreshment terrace, and enjoy a casual luncheon at the adjacent Spa cafe.

River Park

Whatever way you prefer to enjoy the water – its sights, sounds, and serenity – you can embrace it and some much-needed tranquility at Berkeley Hall’s River Park. Take a sunset cruise with friends, sit quietly on the dock or explore the river in a kayak or on a paddleboard.

Location

Berkeley Hall is in the heart of Bluffton where you are close to everything you want.  You’re just a short drive from the beaches, shopping and cultural attractions of neighboring Savannah and Charleston.  And Bluffton offers its own treasures to discover.  Calhoun Street and The Promenade offer eclectic shops, galleries and restaurants while the Old Town district combines timeless architecture with modern flare.  The Thursday Farmers Market brings the streets alive with music, artists, artwork, and a variety of locally grown fresh produce from Lowcountry vendors.  All this and more is wrapped up neatly with plenty of Southern hospitality.
