Protecting the Environment: Let’s Get the Kids Involved!
This past weekend our team participated in the Page Island Oyster Roast, a benefit for The Outside Foundation Kids in Kayaks Scholarship Fund. This is an excellent, local event that includes a boat cruise from the Harbour Town Yacht basin to Page Island. The oysters are the highlight with live music, auctions, drinks, and family fun and games. Monica and her son, Davis, were there proudly supporting the organization under the Herman & Davis Properties banner.
The Outside Foundation raises awareness through education and stressing the importance of sustaining and growing a healthy ecosystem. The goal of the foundation is to involve our local youth and teach them the value in protecting our beautiful environment. The best way to excite
our children in matters that directly affect our community is to get them outside and show them that being involved is not only fun, it is important and the impact possible knows no bounds.
